Announcing the Cribl Support Portal

We are excited to announce that our Cribl Support Portal is live! The Portal resolves the challenges some customers faced with providing diag bundle files to Support, including some mail servers blocking diag content and email server limits on diag file size. With access to the Support Portal, you can now upload files directly to us. All existing methods of providing diag bundles are still usable, but the Portal now offers more consistency and reliability.

If you have a Standard or Enterprise license, we highly encourage you to start using the Support Portal. Here are some other benefits of using the Portal:

  • Define/view case priority

  • Manage file attachments

  • Manage your cases (and Portal Admins have full account-wide visibility of support cases) including viewing current status and case owner

  • View case histories with resolution summaries

Best of all, the Portal integrates with email, so you can still reach out to us that way after you get onboarded.

We’re already onboarding some accounts for customers who have been willing to test it with us as we work out the initial kinks. We’ll be continuing to onboard customer accounts as quickly as we can, so bear with us.

Cribl’s Support team will be handling initial onboarding, but in the future, account teams will handle Portal onboarding as part of overall onboarding of new accounts. Onboarding thus far has involved providing a brief demo for our pilot accounts and ensuring that the portal admin user (if the customer designates an admin) is shown the ropes.

To help scale that effort, we’ve created a short video tutorial that you can watch on your own, and we’ve updated our Working with Support doc page to describe more details about the signup process.

Access to the Support Portal requires a login. Logins will be provided only to licensed customers – this is another benefit of a paid license. Regardless of whether you have Portal access, you can continue to open cases with us via email if you prefer. And whether the case was initially opened via email or the Portal, you’ll still have the option to email us about it.
